REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 7th ANNUAL `GET TEED OFF AT ARTHRITIS` GOLF TOURNAMENT

Press Release Summary = Severna Park, MD, July 19, 2006 - Did you know that if you have arthritis, playing golf can enhance the strength and mobility of your extremities, spine, hips and lower extremities? Golf can help your range of motion in your joints or how well you can move each joint through its full capabilities. It also can help improve balance and coordination, according to an article \"Golf and Arthritis\" on the Arthritis Foundation website www.arthritis.org. With this in mind, registration is open for anyone interested in playing in the Get "Teed Off" at Arthritis Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at Renditions Golf Course in Davidsonville on Friday, September 15th, 2006. A foursome can register for $750 or $850 with company tee sign; individuals can register for $195. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are still available. Funds raised will help support the mission of the Arthritis Foundation, which is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. This branch of the Arthritis Foundation serves Anne Arundel, St. Mary's, Charles and Calvert Counties by providing information brochures to the public, aquatics and land-based exercises, health fairs and educational seminars. The Arthritis Foundation will provide lunch and refreshments. A Million $ hole-in-one contest will be held during the event, along with putting contest, and raffles. The day will conclude with dinner, an awards ceremony, and auctions.
